1. Introduction
Morsable ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, where and how it is stored, who processes it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
  • Account: When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a user identifier and, if you allow, name and email (as provided by the provider).
  • Profile: Display name, username, profile photo, country/region, and in-app preferences.
  • Communications: Messages and data needed for real-time voice/live features.
  • Device and usage: Device type, OS version, app version, and similar technical data for operation and support.
  • Support and reports: What you send via "Contact us" and report flows; we may add device/app metadata to help resolve issues.
3. How and Where Data Is Stored — Firebase (Google)
We usGoogle Firebase to run the app. Your data is stored and processed on Firebase services, including:
  • Firebase Authentication: Sign-in (including Sign in with Apple and Google). Account identifiers and provider-linked data are processed by Google.
  • Cloud Firestore: Database where we store your profile, messages, chat threads, and other in-app data.
  • Firebase Cloud Storage: Storage of profile photos and similar files.
  • Firebase Cloud Functions: Server-side logic (e.g. sending messages, live session setup, moderation, support tickets).
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Sending push notifications to your device.
Data may be stored in Google data centers (including in the United States or other countries). Google acts as our data processor under their privacy and data processing terms. 4. How We Use Data
We use the data to provide and improve the app (authentication, messaging, live features, subscriptions, notifications, safety, moderation, and support) and to comply with legal obligations.
5. Legal Basis
We process data based on your consent, performance of our contract with you, and where necessary for our legitimate interests (e.g. security, abuse prevention) or legal duties.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
  • Firebase/Google (as above) and other service providers that help us operate the app, under strict confidentiality and data protection terms.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
7. Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data in line with our procedures, except where we must retain it by law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights or ask questions, use the in-app "Contact us" or email us at "yibadev@gmail.com". You can delete your account in app settings.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures (including encryption in transit). Data on Firebase is protected by Google’s security practices. No system is 100% secure; we recommend you keep your account and device secure.
10. Children
The app is not aimed at users under 13 (or higher age if required in your country). We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Transfers
Data may be processed in countries outside your country. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version (e.g. in the app or on our website) and, where required, notify you or ask for consent.
